2017 From my camera roll…

One of the main delusions of social media is that we ‘really‘ know each other…

We don’t and the ease of creating an online persona has been proven time and time again, that’s why I thought it would be nice to share some of my personal memories from 2017. The photo’s that don’t make it to my Instagram photo reel or my Twitter, some of the moments that mattered.

My sister searched out some old photo’s for a baby shower she was attending – It would appear I’ve not changed much, same fringe, the same love of crop tops, same chubby belly…

He took a candid photo – We were sightseeing in the city of Bath and it just wouldn’t stop raining, I feel that my expression speaks volumes…

The photo that brings tears to my eyes – The hardest part of 2017 was the loss of my father in law, there were so many times that I could never find the words to say. Whilst this might just look like G and his nephew staring at the cat to you, it means so much more to me.

Mum and I took some selfies – She absolutely detests the camera! These are extremely rare photo’s of us, the first in around 10+ years…

I went dress shopping – The fact we’re getting married still feel’s entirely surreal, however, dress shopping was a lot of fun! Fun fact, this dress was everything I didn’t want to try on and I gave it a chance to ensure I’d covered every base, I felt like a 6-year-old playing dress up.

We took G’s Mum away for a few days – Let’s hope no one peed in the hot tub! But seriously, they are rather fun even if they are a touch overrated!

At least once a month I was crawling through mud – Joining Team Trek for Tough Mudder was one of the coolest parts of my year!

I took G clay pigeon shooting – Obviously he was fantastic and I was hopeless, yet enthusiastic! I really recommend trying this at least once.

My little brother got married – There are 10 years between us and I never expected him to get married before I did, and this ended up being part of the wonderful and surprising twists in 2017. I love this candid and playful photo of him with his beautiful wife and family.

I attempted to get to grips with self-timer – Take that, Instagram professionals…

Our cat loves sleeping on the sofa – It would appear that I too excel at such pastimes…

Lily appears in our photo album – Almost every day!

G, ate poop – I did too, it was very sweet and tasted slightly like a giant cola bottle…and clearly, I found this incredibly amusing!

We got Christmas jumpers – This year we took it to a whole new level…

I really enjoyed sharing a selection of more personal, less perfect moments from my year – Please link me if you’ve posted a yearly round up?

Katie
