Wedding Shoes For Under £100.00
Dear Reader,
I’m back on the topic of wedding planning and I need to take the opportunity to talk about a subject very close to my heart. The topic of the day is Shoes.
There’s just something about having the right shoes.I could always count on a fabulous pair of shoes to make me feel confident or on the other hand, to give me the extra boost to run that extra mile. Or even a few extra inches and a slight wiggle when I walked…
When I was younger, I dreamed of buying a pair of designer heels, I wanted that high of walking into the shop of my dreams and leaving with a purchase I’d wear for years. I never expected them to go out of fashion, or to give me blisters, alongside the minor detail that I’d have to deal with the credit card bill. In my 21-year-old mind, paying back my credit card bill was something that I’d placed in the ‘Never’ box.
I’ve had a few designer show successes, for example, a simple pair of Prada courts, which I’ve since reheeled, some timeless Gucci pumps and a trusty pair of Ralph Lauren boots.
Fast forward a few years and I’m planning our wedding, I had a dream of buying a low key gown and splashing out on some incredible shoes. Like all good plans, sometimes they have to change and the moment I started dress shopping, my plan and budget changed somewhat abruptly.
I’ve since agonised about buying designer shoes, I looked at the Jimmy Choo sale, with more interest than could be considered healthy. I bought some beautiful Sophia Webster shoes, which sadly I had to return due to the simple fact they made me walk with all the grace of Bambi. I even tried good old Marks and Spencer, I strutted to the store to collect my purchase, proud of my money saving skills, only to be bitterly disappointed.
After some soul searching, *cough* looking at my bank account, I realised that buying a beautiful pair of high street shoes was the best idea for me. Something drew me into House Of Fraser, it might have been the sale signs or the fact I had time to spare, but I found my shoes. Of course, in true Katie style I spent the rest of the evening worrying about them, but when I paired them with the dress, I felt reassured I’d made the right choice.
To help other Brides in my situation, I’ve lovingly searched the internet and found what I’d consider to be a marvellous selection of shoes for under £100.00.

Ted Baker * Roland Cartier * Pink By Paradox London
Jenny Packman * Michael Kors * Monsoon
I hope you’ve found this helpful, I’m impressed by how many amazing options for wedding shoes there are these days. Whilst prices of these shoes vary from £30-£100 if your budget is closer to under £50.00 my two suggestions on where to start looking would be ASOS and Quiz.
