Mummy Meagz Rocky Road Review
Disclaimer – I was kindly sent these bars for review, but all opinions are my own.
“Your hand and your mouth agreed many years ago that, as far as chocolate is concerned, there is no need to involve your brain.”
For me, chocolate is a celebration, of how fortunate we are to be able to access something so simple, comforting and delicious. For many years, the chocolate choices for Vegans or people with allergies were limited and slightly tasteless. However, one woman made it her mission to become a hero within the local vegan community and breaking all the stigmas attached to vegan food.
The woman in question is a lady called Meagan Boyle (or better known as Mummy Meagz) who created the impossibly delicious Rocky Road I’ve been testing over the past few weeks.

When I first tried her Rocky Road (I started with the Sea Salt and Cinder Toffee) I was instantly impressed by how rich and truffle-like the texture was. Dark indulgent chocolate, coupled with the occasional salty hit of toffee, studded with marshmallow, was a match made in heaven.
But, my absolute favourite was without a double the chocolate orange, because it was like eating a chocolate orange torte and that’s never, ever a bad thing. Had I not known the “Mummy Meagz” background, I’d have honestly been none the wiser that these were vegan. Alongside this, they are made lovingly gluten-free and ‘Free From’ 13 of 14 major allergens, plus dried fruit (which surprisingly divides people).

All four flavours of Mummy Meagz Rocky Road bars – Which are “Original” – “Mint” – “Sea Salt & Cinder Toffee” and “Orange” are available to buy online from a whole host of locations. Which means there’s actually no excuse for you not to get involved and try some for yourself.
