Make Your Own : PB2 – Lower Calorie Peanut Butter

I’m not always one for tradition, whilst everyone is writing recipes and post’s that relate to the present winter season. I’m writing about peanut butter and my entertainment skill’s.

Today has been an unusual day for me, it’s been frantically busy and there has been a peanut butter shaped void, which is never a good thing in my very humble opinion. To give you an insight into my day; whilst trying to stay warm and entertain a 4 year old. We ran a mini race and the race setting was our living room, the course was direct and 4 laps.

The 4 year old won. 

He also won at hide and seek, it was something to do with my lack of ability to squash myself into tiny spaces. But I did manage a half hearted ‘wall sit’ whilst ‘hiding‘. You see, it’s all about getting creative with mini ‘entertainment workout’s‘ and making lighter ‘Peanut Butter’. It leaves plenty of room for utterly guilt free consumption of mince pies, roast potatoes, Christmas pudding and hot chocolates laced with Bailey’s.

As this is also a busy time of year, you’ll be pleased to read that this recipe can be made in 5 minutes. With no messy processor to clean out and you don’t even need many ingredients.

Why should you make this ‘Peanut Butter’ rather than dip your spoon into the deeply enjoyable and almost unbeatable ‘Real’ peanut butter?

Because it’s the perfect solution for when you run out of peanut butter, for recipes containing peanut butter and/or if you are trying to stick to particular macro’s

Peanut Butter or PB2


*40g Peanut Flour

*Quarter of a teaspoon salt

*Tablespoon honey/argave (if required)

*60ml Nut Milk


Add the peanut flour to a bowl, stir in the salt and then add the milk and sweetener, taste test and transfer to a jar and keep in the fridge and use within a month.
